Oatmeal Bath?

  Listen,

I know this is crazy, but have you ever heard of an oatmeal bath?  I know crazy, right? But, don’t just me I did it as an infant, and as a teenager my skin is so soft! Especially if you have dry skin, this will really help! This also will help you have the following:

  • Chicken Pox
  • Poison Ivy
  •   Eczema
  •   Diaper rash
  • Shingles

So, just how in the world do you even take an oatmeal bath?  Well, here’s just what you need:

  • Regular (unflavored) oatmeal.
  •  Warm water
  •  A bath tub

Alright, now that we’ve got all that stuff, time to take the bath!

Giving the Bath:

First, I would run warm water into the tub. You can put as much water as you want in your tub, just go CRAZY! Now sprinkle the oatmeal into the tub, and either stirs it with your hand or spatula, or whatever. If you feel any clumps on the bottom of the tub, just break up any you find.  If you have a child or infant, you should assist them in getting into the tub, because the tub will be slipperier than usual.  Now, allow them to soak for 15-20 minutes, then PAT dry, do not RUB.
