Want to add some bounce to your everyday hairstyle? Then try a mint splash; you’ll get instant volume with this tonic!  If you’re looking to repair damage, then you’ve come to the right place!

Dull strands?

  • 1 over-ripe banana (smash the banana into a paste.)
  • Wide tooth comb

Lets get started: take your mashed banana and apply it to your hair, wet or dry.  Leave it on for 30 minutes, and then rinse it out while running a wide-tooth comb through your hair! Shampoo and condition as usual. *The potassium and vitamins in bananas gives your hair shine but won’t weigh it down. *

Greasy hair?

  • ½ cup distilled water
  • 2 oz. liquid castile soap
  • 4 tsp. dried mint
  • 2/3 cup regular shampoo
  • 1 tsp. dried sage

First, combine water and liquid castile soap. Then add your dried mint, sage and some of your regular shampoo.  Then wash your hair!

Add bounce

  • 2 ounces of witch hazel
  • 2 ounces of mouthwash

Now mix the ingredients together and just apply the liquid to your scalp! Massage it in for five minutes, and then shampoo and condition as usual. *Using a cotton ball to apply the liquid might help! *

Damage control

  • 2 ounces of water
  • Half of a ripe avocado
  • 2 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 2 eggs

First you combine all the ingredients with your fingers. Now apply your mixture to dry hair and leave it in for ten minutes. After that rinse thoroughly and shampoo as usual.

Want some sleek?

  • 2 tbsp. rose-water
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup of mixed flower petals. (Rose or jasmine)

First you will need to boil the coconut oil, rose-water and petals. (Do so for 3 minutes.) After that is completed, let mixture cool, then strain and now massage into scalp.  Now wrap your hair in a towel for 20 minutes before washing it out.
